- Korean Embassy Nepal has published an update on increase in GPA Requirement to 3.20, IELTS overall 7.0, 3 Years Gap accepted and decreased 50 to only 30 seats per university. Also for English track TOPIK is not required.
- Our partner universities were informed that they will only be allowed to accept students with GPA 3.2 and IELTS 7.
But our partner universities have told us that this is not final confirmation. They will be meeting representatives from consular department in next few days or weeks and then discuss the requirements.
Once the meeting is done, we will get a final confirmation from University and Korean Embassy on GPA and IELTS requirements.
What is next step for our students
- Those who have 5.5, start preparing for IELTS again and test again.
- Those who have 6 or 6.5 hold and wait for a few weeks.
- Those who have not done IELTS, start preparing for IELTS and let’s target 7.
